Social event

The social event is on Saturday, 25 August from 14.00 to 17.00. It is a three dish meal:

• 14.00-15.00: Boat trip. The boat will pick us up next to the conference centre after lunch on Saturday. More precisely, we will be picked up at the staircase to the canal on the backside of Hotel Mariott, 200 meters north east of the conference centre. At 15.00, the boat will drop us off at Amaliehaven, the park of Amalienborg (the queen's castle).
• 15.00-16.00: Walking tour in Copenhagen. From Amaliehaven we will walk approximately 3 kilometers to Nørrebro's Bryghus (see next item), passing among other things the queen's castle and Rosenborg Castle.
• 16.00-17.00: Brewery tour. The (formal part of) the social event ends with a guided tour of the microbrewery Nørrebro's Bryghus, Ryesgade 3. In their beautiful surroundings we will hear about the process of beer brewing and be treated with tastings of 4 different handbrewed beers.

If you're looking to socialise further after the formal program of the social event, some of us will probably stay in the bar of the microbrewery for an additional beer after the tour and then maybe go to a local restaurant for dinner (both on your own expense).

If you are not participating in the full program, please use Google Maps or the the physical map given to you at the conference site to find out how to get to/from the different sites. Both Amaliehaven (the drop off point of the boat trip) and Nørrebro Bryghus are within 3 kilometers on foot from the conference centre and 2 kilometers on foot from the central station.
